What changed?
Matches between connected accounts and sender/recipient IBAN or account-hash matches now store the money movement type as an internal transfer.
The old compatibility flag is still populated, so existing reports and views keep working while Martia moves to the new classification model.
Why it matters?
Martia can explain more clearly why a transaction does not increase spending or income.
Owner-name similarity alone is not treated as hard proof in this change; automatic exclusion is limited to proven own-account transfers.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. When Martia sees a connected transaction pair or a sender/recipient account match, that money movement remains excluded from budget totals.
