Your investment account chart now reaches older imported transactions and shows an estimated value history.

Martia reconstructs cash and units held from recorded inflows, outflows, purchases and sales. The “All” range automatically includes earlier dates where the imported data is sufficient.

How we estimate the history

For each instrument, we use the day’s average purchase and sale price, weighted by units traded. We also use prices reported with security transfers. We carry the last known price forward to later days and convert currencies using rates for each date. These are estimates, not daily market valuations.

Missing data or an event we cannot reconstruct leaves a gap. “About the data” explains the estimates’ source. Reconstruction does not change recorded provider valuations, the account’s current value or net worth.
