What changed?
A transaction list works best when you do not have to read every bank description from the beginning. Bank text is often hard to scan: a terminal code from a Żabka run, a payment processor shortcut, or a long transfer title can slow down a simple spending check.
Martia now shows recognizable icons beside operations. When we know the merchant, you see its logo. When a logo is not available, the same spot shows a colored category icon, so you can still tell at a glance whether it is food, transport, bills, or a transfer.
Where does it work?
Icons now appear wherever you scan operation lists: Transactions, Spending lists, category and day details, and recurring payment history. The same operation looks familiar across the app, whether you are checking one Biedronka transaction, a whole day of spending, or a subscription history.
Frequently asked questions
We show the category icon instead. The transaction still stays easy to read in the list, and if we recognize the merchant later, it can get the right logo.
Yes, when the transaction is using a category pictogram. Merchant logos take priority because they make the exact place of payment faster to recognize.
